This is the web site of Will Abson, an open source software developer, open data advocate and marathon canoeist. I’m based in London and work for Alfresco Software as a Senior Solutions Engineer.
Here are some projects I’ve been involved with –
- Share Extras, a set of add-ons for Alfresco Share, as project lead and chief developer
- The original Site Tags Dashlet, a fore-runner to Share Extras, and now part of it, with contributions from Mike Hatfield
- Share Import-Export, a set of Python scripts for importing and exporting collaboration sites in Alfresco Share
- Significant contributor to OpenStreetMap coverage of Ealing, West London, and the Isle of Anglesey
- ScraperWiki views showing a map of all 2011 Heritage Open Days
- Currently helping to gather West London data for use in the Great British Toilet Map by Gail Knight
